Nature is our finest artist and no colour as beautiful as the unique texture of the wood used to craft your Kendama. The Nature Specials are either clear-coated or left completely natural and let you appreciate this beauty, without compromising on quality or playability.
The Play Pro II - Bamboo Special is an uncoated, natural Ken made from bamboo. The biggest advantage of bamboo kens is that they are lightweight and break in quickly and it's our favourite when it comes to birds (a serious of tricks where the ball is balanced on the side of the cups)!
The Record - N1 Recpaint - series is coated with Recpaint, a tacky clear coat, and available in beech or maple wood.
Beech is the wood most commonly used in making Kendamas. Beeches are fast growing and their medium-density wood neither too hard, nor too soft, making it the perfect all-rounder to master all kinds of tricks with.
Maple, on the other hand, is one of the hardest woods commonly used to make Kendamas. Kens made from maple are loved and appreciated for their sonorous clicking sound and longevity. They are fantastic to play with but because they also take a long time to break in, we don't recommend them as entry - level Kendamas.

Record - N1 Special
The Record - series has been developed as a performance series and are Kendama Europe's newest weapon of choice! For those who want to learn the basics, the Ken-Shape (Pro II or Record) doesn't make a big difference but anyone trying to progress to more difficult tricks, like lunar landings, will quickly learn to appreciate the improved playing characteristics!
All Record - Series Kendamas come pre-equipped with the new infinity bearing! And thanks to the new recpaint, the ball has an unprecedented grip, but still allows the player to make fine adjustments when catching.
